Dear Guests,

As a member of the management team at Wellnessresidenz Alpenrose—Der alpine Kraftplatz on Lake Achensee—I am pleased to announce that we have decided to apply for the Austrian Ecolabel. 

The environment is very important to us, and I am convinced that, as a large hotel, we can make a significant contribution to environmental protection together with our staff.
Our decision to apply for the Ecolabel is part of our long-term strategic focus on promoting sustainability and protecting natural resources.

We are committed to making our operations more environmentally friendly and are implementing eco-conscious measures across all areas of our hotel. Some of the changes you, our valued guests, will notice include the increased use of renewable energy, the reduction of single-use plastics, and enhanced waste separation. In addition, we will continue to optimize our water and energy consumption and prioritize offering local and organically produced food in our restaurants.

These measures are necessary to reduce our ecological footprint and shape a more sustainable future. We are aware that change sometimes requires a period of adjustment, but we are convinced that these steps will benefit not only the environment but also the quality of our service.
