FAQ for Your Wellness Vacation at Lake Achensee

Spanning over 8,500 square meters, Der alpine Kraftplatz offers a spacious spa and wellness area, most of which is included as part of the Kraftplatz extras: a variety of saunas, bathing and water areas for families and adults only, relaxation rooms, infrared treatments, teas and healthy snacks, as well as a daily activity and fitness program. Individual beauty and therapeutic treatments are subject to an additional charge.

Der alpine Kraftplatz offers numerous adults-only relaxation areas: spa, pool, and relaxation areas for guests 18 and older, as well as sauna facilities and relaxation rooms for guests 14 and older. These areas are clearly separated from the family-friendly wellness areas, ensuring that both those seeking tranquility and families can find the perfect retreat.

Yes, spa treatments can also be booked without an overnight stay (by appointment only). Bookings can be made directly through the Vitaltempel reception desk at +43 5243 5293-606.

Yes, a limited number of day spa packages are available; these can
only be booked directly through the front desk.

You are welcome to arrive as early as the morning of your arrival day.
Our breakfast buffet is open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. On the day of your arrival, you can book it at a special rate of €20.00 (instead of €30.00).

We will do our best to have your room ready for you as soon as possible, but no later than 3:00 PM. On the day of departure, we need the room back by 11:00 a.m. On the day of arrival and departure, you can use our wellness area even before check-in or after check-out. Our alpine Kraftplatz Light Lunch (1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.) is also included on the day of arrival and departure.

Reservations: Wellness treatments should be booked well in advance, ideally at the time of booking your room or before arrival. Advance registration is required for special programs and classes. Appointments can be canceled free of charge up to 12 hours in advance.

The spa and wellness area at Der alpine Kraftplatz is open daily; most areas are open from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Saunas open at 11:00 AM; special saunas (e.g., Himmelreich, Kräuteralm, Family Sauna) open at 2:00 PM.

Der alpine Kraftplatz features high-quality international and Alpine skincare brands, including Maria Galland, Ligne St. Barth, Vinoble, Alpienne, and Tiroler Steinöl, as well as innovative active ingredient and high-tech concepts such as Reviderm, Dermadrop, Balance Alpine 1000+, Age Attraction, BioBloom (CBD), and E&M Vital. The range is complemented by La Biosthetique at the salon. Many products are also available for home use.

Der alpine Kraftplatz offers a daily program of activities and relaxation, including yoga, Pilates, meditation, Qigong, and breathing exercises, most of which are free for hotel guests. The classes take place indoors or, in the summer, outdoors, and are led by qualified instructors. The current weekly schedule is available at the hotel, online, or via the app.

Yes, Der alpine Kraftplatz has two natural swimming ponds of its own. These are a central feature of the expansive outdoor grounds and complement the heated pool areas.

The wellness area at Der alpine Kraftplatz features various amenities that make it easier to access the spacious open areas, such as elevators leading to the themed relaxation rooms.

Yes, a personal bath bag containing a bathrobe and bath and sauna towels will be provided in your room during your stay.

We provide towels for the spa area. For environmental reasons, we do not provide slippers.
