The treatment starts with a fragrant steam bath, followed by a body compress with a blend of dried mud used for its therapeutic properties and lulur oil on the hot stone table. The movements conjure up a cosy, pleasant feeling on the skin. The effect of the heat achieves a state of balanced relaxation. The body pack is followed by a cleansing soap lather massage with a gentle peeling effect. This treatment is accompanied by a brief introduction into the world of sound massages and the exotic scent of joss sticks. Then you relax in a lovely bath of orange and rose petals with honey and bath essence. This is rounded off by the gentle application of oil.

This traditional Balinese treatment was originally used by rice farmers during the damp, windy months of the monsoon. It warms the body up, and stimulates the blood circulation. Toxins are secreted via the skin. The natural products used in the treatment are blended according to a centuries-old recipe, and comprises herbs and spices. Ingredients such as cloves and spice also soften the skin. A bali boreh treatment is made up of one bath of manuka and ginger, one massage using sesame and ginger oil, one hot boreh herbal pack and one application of special carrot tonic. There then follows the application of boreh body balm with ginger and carrots.

The queen of all beauty treatments. This Indonesian treatment ritual was originally used as a “cleansing ritual for the bride” on the islands of Java and Bali. An exciting experience awaits you – an experience which harmonises your body, mind and soul. Asian herbs, spices, flowers, oils containing various fragrant essences and a yoghurt mask await you. The relaxing atmosphere is accentuated by traditional Indonesian music and joss sticks. Java Lulur is a five-phase treatment: Balinese massage using special oils, exfoliant with lulur scrub, yoghurt mask, bath of flowers, rounded off with a moisturising body balm.
