Our wine cellar
A treasure chest for wine aficionados: in the vaults of the wine cellar, 200 of the finest wines from Austria and around the world slumber their way to maturity. Around 7,000 bottles of delightful 'juice of the grape' are waiting at the Alpenrose to be discovered by knowledgeable palates that take pleasure in the finer things in life.
Listen to the expert knowledge of the Alpenrose sommeliers and wine experts at your service – and enjoy the perfect complement to a wonderful dinner.
Once a week we invite guests into our wine store, where our head waiter gives sensuous insights into the fascinating world of a wine's 'nose' and 'bouquet'. Guests also have the opportunity to purchase some wine to take with them as a sort of culinary memento of their stay at the Alpenrose or as a gift for a loved one – all at wine store prices.
Fire for the senses, magnificent brandies. Distilled delicacies of the best quality and purity await you in our 400 years old, original Ziller Valley farmhouse parlour in the basement. Finish off an Alpenrose evening with a glass of fine whiskey, mature cognac or an original Tyrolean fine brandy.
